2013 Group Management Meeting for Coca-Cola Sabco

After almost five months of planning , the week finally arrived for Coca-Cola Sabco’s Group Management Meeting in Namibia – an international Conference attended by the top teams from Sabco’s nine countries across Africa and Asia.

As you would have noticed, we don’t do conferencing in an ordinary way!   We like to think out of the box and create an unique and unforgettable conference experience. This time around, we had to organize the conference and awards dinner for the GMM Coca – Cola Sabco Group in Swakopmund, Namibia. Being based in Port Elizabeth we had to come up with the conference and awards dinner concept and turn this into reality.  We had to source the best hotels, conference venues, décor and AV suppliers for the 120 delegates attending the conference. 

Our last conference at the Boardwalk Hotel and Convention Centre in Port Elizabeth, was set-up as a “Coca – Cola Coffee shop” so to top this, we had to come up with something bigger and better.  We started thinking and looking at what Namibia had to offer… and what better way to set-up a conference in Namibia than playing with the German Pub concept. We worked closely with Tamonika events, who translated our ideas into reality.  We could not have asked for better assistance from Frans at Tamonika Events  From a technical perspective, Michael and his team for MikelJes AV and Sound ensured that everything ran smoothly inside the Conference room.

For the Awards Dinner – the highlight of the week-long conference – the brief was that the venue had to be…. the dunes…. Never mind the chance of a sand storm or rain, it  had to be in the dunes! Have a look at some of the photographs to see what a magical evening (in conjunction with Tamonika and MikelJes) we created. The setting was the perfect end to a wonderful week and experience in Namibia.
